VeerSaa Terms & Conditions

1. SERVICE SCOPE & LIMITATIONS

1.1 VeerSaathi companions provide non-medical assistance and support services only.

1.2 VeerSaathi team members are not doctors, nurses, or licensed medical practitioners, unless the customer specifically selects a “Premium Nurse Add-On”.

1.3 VeerSaathi personnel cannot:

  • Offer medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • Make medical decisions for the patient
  • Administer medicines, injections, or medical procedures
  • Assume responsibility for clinical outcomes

1.4 All treatment decisions and medical outcomes remain the responsibility of the patient’s healthcare providers, doctors, and hospitals.

2. ACCURACY OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION

2.1 The customer confirms that all information provided—such as patient details, medical history, contact details, and special requirements—is accurate and complete.

2.2 The customer agrees to immediately notify VeerSaa of:

  • Changes in patient condition
  • Infectious diseases or behavioral risks
  • Special medical or caregiving requirements

2.3 VeerSaa reserves the right to cancel a service if false information is provided. Refunds may be denied in such cases.

3. AUTHORIZATION & CONSENT

3.1 The customer authorizes VeerSaathi to:

  • Accompany the patient to healthcare facilities
  • Assist with registration, coordination, hospital navigation
  • Communicate basic information to hospital staff
  • Take photographs/scans of medical documents for family updates
  • Collect GPS location during the service for safety purposes

3.2 Customer consents to sharing necessary medical data with VeerSaathi solely for service delivery.

4. PAYMENT TERMS

4.1 Payments must be made as per the service charges displayed on veersaa.in at booking time.

4.2 Additional charges apply for:

  • ₹150/hour for extra service duration
  • 20% night surcharge between 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Optional add-ons (wheelchair, nurse, etc.)

4.3 Refund & cancellation policy:

  • 100% refund if cancelled 6+ hours before service
  • 50% refund if cancelled 3–6 hours before service
  • No refund if cancelled within 3 hours or in case of no-show

4.4 Payment must be completed immediately after service completion.

5. RESPONSIBILITIES OF CUSTOMER & PATIENT

5.1 Customer agrees to:

  • Ensure patient cooperation
  • Remain reachable via phone or WhatsApp
  • Respond to VeerSaathi updates promptly
  • Treat VeerSaathi respectfully

5.2 The customer shall not request:

  • Medical procedures or skill-based medical tasks
  • Unsafe or illegal activities
  • Services outside the booked package

5.3 VeerSaa shall not be held liable for:

  • Hospital delays or operational issues
  • Ambulance/Hospital medical decisions
  • Patient behavioral risks outside VeerSaathi control

6. PRIVACY & DATA HANDLING

6.1 Customer consents to VeerSaa collecting and storing:

  • Basic patient information
  • Contact information
  • Necessary medical documents for service completion
  • Location data during service

6.2 VeerSaa ensures:

  • Secure storage of data
  • Confidential handling of patient information
  • Data will not be shared with third parties for marketing

6.3 The customer may request deletion of their data after service completion, subject to lawful retention requirements.

7. SAFETY & EMERGENCIES

7.1 In an emergency, VeerSaathi will:

  • Notify emergency services (108/112)
  • Inform hospital staff
  • Immediately contact the customer/family

7.2 Decisions made by VeerSaathi during emergencies prioritize patient safety and are performed in good faith.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

8.1 VeerSaa is not liable for:

  • Medical complications
  • Treatment delays
  • Hospital negligence
  • Force majeure events

8.2 VeerSaathi are insured through professional indemnity coverage.

8.3 VeerSaa’s liability is strictly limited to the service fee paid.

8.4 VeerSaa is not responsible for lost/damaged personal belongings.

9. SERVICE LOCATION & AVAILABILITY

9.1 Services are currently offered only in the cities listed on veersaa.in.

9.2 Same-day bookings depend on VeerSaathi availability.

9.3 VeerSaa reserves the right to decline a service request if:

  • Unfavorable safety conditions exist
  • Incorrect information is provided
  • Capacity is full

10. VEERSAATHI CONDUCT & CUSTOMER SUPPORT

10.1 All VeerSaathis are:

  • Background verified
  • Trained for professional conduct
  • Required to maintain patient dignity

10.2 Complaints can be raised via WhatsApp or support email.

10.3 VeerSaa will resolve complaints within 72 hours.

11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

11.1 Customers agree to resolve disputes through VeerSaa Support before legal escalation.

11.2 Any unresolved disputes will be settled via arbitration under Indian law.

12. MODIFICATIONS & UPDATES

12.1 VeerSaa may update terms with prior notice on the website.

12.2 Continued use implies acceptance of updated terms.

12.3 Material changes will be communicated via email or WhatsApp when possible.

13. CUSTOMER CONFIRMATION

By clicking “I Accept and Book Service”, the customer confirms that:

  • They are at least 18 years old
  • They have read and understood all terms
  • All information provided is accurate
  • They authorize VeerSaathi to perform the described service
  • They agree to cancellation and payment rules
